Video Production and Photography Portfolio

You build great things. Let’s make them standout.

We create powerful visuals for construction and industrial companies. Our visuals have been used for investor relations, hiring campaigns, internal training, social media, web, print, and more. Keep scrolling to view samples of our work below.

Edmonton LRT Projects

Marigold Infrastructure Partners

Since 2022, we’ve been the sole provider of imagery for Marigold Infrastructure Partner’s Valley Line West project. We support the communications team by filming media events, producing construction videos and capturing all of the visuals for their stakeholder communications.

Our role includes providing professional photography, video production, aerial imagery and timelapse capturing of the vast ongoing construction of the Valley Line LRT project.

You can find our work on their social media channels, in City of Edmonton presentations and social media channels, as well as in the Renew Canada Magazine.

TransEd Valley Line LRT

From 2016 - 2022, Sovdi Media worked with the TransEd Valley Line LRT until its completion in 2022. During this project, we captured ongoing professional drone video of the Tawatinâ Bridge, produced long-term construction time-lapses, and photographed the track installation along the 13km alignment. We also highlighted many of their media events like the tunnel breakthrough, and the arrival of the first LRV.

Liebherr Canada

Our team partnered with Liebherr to provide video production and professional photography at Gibraltar Mines in British Columbia. The goal was to capture an equipment handoff of four PR776 Bull Dozers and deliver visual assets Liebherr could use for both internal sales and external marketing. Filmed at an active copper mine in BC, the final video showcases Liebherr’s massive machinery in action, highlighting the scale, power, and precision behind every one of their builds.

Colas

This was an internal video series that Sovdi Media filmed for Colas specifically to get team members excited to implement new operational processes at mechanic shops across Canada.

Filmed on location across 4 mechanical warehouses in Edmonton and Calgary, this video series introduced a new approach to how their teams work, move, and manage day-to-day operations. With a focus on clarity, consistency, and safety, Colas was rolling out this initiative nationwide and wanted their crews to see the value in action.

Clean visuals, familiar faces within the company, and practical examples helped bring the message home and improve employee buy-in when it came to implementing the new procedures in their day-to-day activities.

Monteith Construction

Partnering with Focus Communications, we filmed this highlight reel of Monteith’s civil infrastructure project in Fort Chipewyan, Alberta.
Working in one of Alberta’s most remote northern communities, our team captured both the spirit of the land and the progress of the build, from untouched terrain to an active construction site. Monteith wanted to highlight their connection to the environment and community before showcasing the final form of the swimming pool taking shape. We navigated weather, logistics, and movement on an active jobsite to deliver a story that reflects both purpose and progress.

Brace Tool

Filmed for Brace Tool’s internal sales team to introduce the brand, educate new prospective customers, and generate leads.
Shot inside their Edmonton workshop, this video captures the precision and pride behind every tool Brace manufactures. From milling machines to final inspections, we followed their team through the full process, bringing the craftsmanship behind their oilfield solutions to the forefront. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at how a local manufacturer supports global energy work, one custom tool at a time.

Ellis Don

Sovdi Media teamed up with Focus Communications to produce this video for Ellis Don’s contribution to the Habitat for Humanity projects across Edmonton.
Filmed over several build days, this piece showcases Ellis Don’s commitment to giving back - not just through funding, but through boots on the ground. From framing walls to handing over keys, their team played a hands-on role in helping local families find safe, affordable housing. The video was created to celebrate the partnership, recognize company volunteers, and inspire continued community involvement in their work culture.

Genstar Developments

We teamed up with Red The Agency to create a promotional video for the new Riverside development in St. Albert.
Genstar wanted to highlight not only the beauty of the neighbourhood but also the energy-efficient design of the homes within it. Shot on location, the video showcases the community’s access to nature, thoughtful urban planning, and the practical features homeowners care about most. From walking trails to high-performance builds, this piece was crafted to resonate with buyers looking for something both sustainable and family-friendly.
