Client: Liebherr
Location: Gibraltar Mine, BC Interior
Services: Photography & Video Documentation
Timeline: Single-day production with travel

Overview

Sovdi Media was engaged by Liebherr to document a heavy equipment product handoff at Gibraltar Mine in British Columbia’s interior. The project required on-site photography and video capture in an active mining environment, with a focus on accurately representing Liebherr’s massive PR776 dozers, personnel, and operational context.

The Challenge

Mining sites present unique constraints:

  • Active industrial operations

  • Strict safety protocols

  • Limited production windows

  • Remote location logistics

  • Equipment that must be documented clearly and professionally, without disruption to site activity

The work needed to be completed efficiently under short time constraints while respecting site safety requirements and operational priorities.

Our Role

We provided on-location photo and video documentation, coordinating closely with site personnel to ensure:

  • Safe positioning and movement on site

  • Clear visual coverage of the product handoff

  • Accurate representation of equipment and process

  • Minimal disruption to ongoing operations

All capture was planned and executed with a strong understanding of industrial environments and safety expectations.
